Stage 1:  Designing

When you first call Majestic Murals, we will set up a convenient time to come into your home and discuss the design(s) you have in mind.  During this consultation, it will be useful if you have pictures or drawings that show the artists your ideas.  To help you with this process, we will bring examples to inspire your imagination.  In an hour or so, the artists will capture the essence of your home and your creative dreams.  Also the artists will evaluate the painting surfaces and recommend improvements if necessary.  If painting will be disruptive to your home or business, you might consider having the work done off site on canvas and later applied to your walls.  This service is optional.  The fee for consultation is $50 and is payable to Majestic Murals upon completion of this session.

Stage 2:  Drafting

The artists will return to their studio and draft a preliminary sketch(es) of the intended artwork.  We will also create a comprehensive written estimate of the cost and conditions necessary to implement the work.  This stage usually takes about two weeks.  When the materials are ready, we will contact you.  If you are satisfied, an artwork agreement will be prepared for signing and a date will be determined to begin your project.  If changes are required, the artists will work with you to formalize a final design.

Stage 3:  Painting

Before any painting can begin, the artwork agreement must be signed and a 50% payment made.  For larger works, the estimate can include a series of progressive payments.  On the date determined to begin the work, the artists will arrive and start painting.  Be assured that the rest of your home will be well protected from any paint hazards and the artists will work in a timely way to complete your project.  During the production, you may wish to request changes or revisions.  These adjustments, and any resulting costs, will be discussed with the artists on site and rewritten into the artwork agreement.

Stage 4:  Finishing

Upon completion of the mural, the artists can recommend ways to maintain and care for your new work of art.  You may also consider having a finish placed over the work to keep it looking fresh and new.  If you would like, the artists will sign the work.  Finally, Majestic Murals will take a photograph of the finished project for reference, and before we leave your home, the balance of the fee will be due.
